Adrien DURAND ADRIEN DURAND Director Director Adrien embarked on directing from a young age, starting with an amateur feature film, Après toi, which won the Lions d’Or des Jeunes Talents in 2015 in his hometown of Robinson, unanimously selected by the jury. At the age of 17, he directed the short film Juliette, which was selected and noted at several festivals, including Génération court, La Bobine d’Or, and the Suresnes Musical Film Festival. A passionate pianist, Adrien’s love for cinema combined with his musical interests led him to write his graduation film Tristia, produced through his company Oxymore Films. The film tells the story of a musical trio where jealousy and emotions intertwine with classical music, featuring two standout profiles: Eva Zavaro, a young violinist nominated for the Victoires de la musique classique during the film’s production, and Zoé Labasse, a director developing her first feature film. Alongside his personal projects, Adrien works as an assistant director on several acclaimed feature films (including Mon Crime by François Ozon, Quand tu seras grand by Andréa Bescond and Éric Métayer, Second Tour by Albert Dupontel, Notre-Dame Brûle by Jean-Jacques Annaud, and Illusions Perdues by Xavier Giannoli) and series (Benjamin Franklin by Tim Van Patten, Tikkoun by Xavier Giannoli and Frédéric Planchon, and Paris Police 1905 by Fabien Nury).
